You may be able to reduce the video file size by encoding it in the MPEG file format. Many video-editing programs allow you to export your file in the MPEG-2 or MPEG-4 formats. The file format that creates the smallest file size is a type of MPEG-4 called H.264.
To create an H.264 file from your existing video file, i recommend using the E-Zsoft iPod Video Converter and then following these steps:
1. Download and install the iPod Video Converter
2. Start iPod Video Converter
3. Select "Video Converter"
4. Click the "Add Files" button and browse for the file you want to convert; select the file 5. On the right side of screen under "Profile," select the option for "IPOD (320x240)H.264 Excellent"
6. On the bottom of the screen, enter the output location where you wish your converted file to be saved
7. Select "Convert now"
8. Once the file conversion is done, you can upload the converted file
